Burt Wright built our house, and my wife and I recommend him to everyone we meet who’s looking for a builder. Trust me folks, if you can make it through all of the challenges of designing and building your retirement dream home, and your wife still thinks the world of your builder, he’s a KEEPER! We interviewed (6) potential builders. In full disclosure, Burt Wright was not the cheapest. He was tied with another builder for 2nd place. However, if you’re building a home where you really want everything done right, there are other influences besides cost that are part of choosing your builder. Of all the interviewees, Burt’s presentation and detail in his estimating was outstanding. He also surpassed his competitors in up-front work, prior to submitting his bid. Most of them we’re “that’s your plan, here’s your price” and that was the end of it. Burt however, took the time to understand us, our needs, wishes and expectations, as best he could. Burt is also a Marine Corps veteran, and my wife and I have a special respect for those who have made the sacrifices to serve our country. You bundle together all the qualities and knowledge that Burt brings to the table, top it off with a “get-it-done” attitude, it made choosing Burt Wright an easy decision for us. Burt’s communication and abilities to resolve issues that come along with building a large home, are outstanding. He also kept his subcontractors on-task and inline during the build process. Throughout construction, we made quite a few change orders, like 13 or 14 of them. While many builders would have complained, whined, resisted, Burt would say “we’ll make it happen”, and he did. Although our work was residential, I also know individuals who are equally satisfied with Burt Wright on their commercial construction.
